Gab CEO Andrew Torba Issues Statement On Return Of The Free Speech Social Media Service

Since the internet got taken over by Big Tech — companies like Facebook, Apple, Reddit, Twitter, Google, Amazon, and Spotify — it has decreased the diversity of the internet and the variety of speech offered, and replaced it with the kind of filtered inoffensive stuff that was common on American daytime television in the 1980s.

Gab, a free speech social media service, offered an alternative, and this has made Big Tech nervous because people fundamentally prefer a Wild West to a Walled Garden. Its CEO Andrew Torba issued a statement today on the future of free speech services on the internet:
