The West continues its death cycle. On this Memorial Day, we celebrate the people who went out and died for democracy, with no one having learned the knowledge from centuries ago that democracy is the killer of societies. People want to believe what they want to believe, and there is no stopping them once they get going, because they will never admit they are wrong. We can never forget our glorious Simian heritage. Individualism is always more popular than principled, purposeful existence, because the latter is hard and the former is so easy that any idiot can do it. A democratic era is the age of Any Idiot, and he seems to control everything important and be wrecking it at the same time.
