Every society dies from multiple stab wounds. It starts by setting up institutions, those create jobs, that creates control structures, and suddenly thinking is inverted from “achieve the thing” to “rationalize what you want under the rules.”

At the same time, society has started to believe people are equal in minimum ability because it needs that to believe in jobs, and so that upper echelon people believe they can communicate with lower echelons. This moves thinking to airy symbolism and violently rejects reality.

Then, the institutions that produce lots of food — agriculture, hygiene, policing — make it easy for the most thoughtless to breed the most profligately, so the society is overwhelmed from below with lots of low-competence people (genetically).

Finally, the have-nots start to realize that now that their basic needs are taken care of, they do not have what the haves have, so they rise up and with superior numbers, overthrow the haves and kill them.

Then the have-nots, who by definition are less able managers, run the society back into poverty. Nature cleans up: agriculture accelerates civilization, so the population reverts to where it was before agriculture.

Right now, we are in the middle of the have-nots taking over through diversity and civil rights law, since the have-nots want nothing quite so much as they want socialism. Socialism allows them to deplete the wealth of the haves and therefore neutralize their power.

As part of their diversity push, they have destroyed the value of your housing, just like they did last time the neurotics tried to increase minority home ownership. This time, their weapon is the illegal alien.

Suppose you live in a civilization of a hundred million people with enough housing so that everybody but five percent or so are comfortably housed. Prices are normal. Now add ten million more people to that mix, and there is less housing per person than before.

Price is a function of demand. That is, whatever someone will pay for something is its value; this is why after a hurricane, a chainsaw may be worth a thousand dollars. You are paying to get it before someone else can get it. Price is relative to how many people want the item.

With housing, when demand goes up because the population suddenly increases, prices go up, too. When government introduces stimulus, this causes people to buy homes who cannot hold onto them, and they go into the hands of large corporates who buy them for pennies on the dollar.

Those corporations want to rent these homes; after all, that brings them a certain sum every month that they can invest in other areas. They do not want to sell. All that housing just went off the market, and now demand is shooting higher.

Now also consider what has happened to your currency. Your government handed out money so that morons would buy lots of garbage, kicking up the GDP and taxes. But then, that money was easier to come by, so demand dropped because there was no need to get it before the other guy.

Now the home that you could have bought for a normal price has doubled in cost twice. First because demand has gone up, and second because the currency has lost value by being easily available (“printing money”). Has your salary kept up?

Not to mention that, but you have new costs. Obamacare costs a family of four the price of a small car every year, and you still have high deductibles for when the kid snaps his arm or gets Hepatitis A on a school trip.

They took it from you. Or rather, you took it from you: you wanted racial equality. You wanted free stuff for the poor. You desired a social safety net for healthcare and old age. Well, actions have consequences, everything has a price, and you FAFO’d and are now another victim of socialism.
