Leftists took over Western civilization by essentially shouting nonsense at it and then acting like enraged victims when it failed to take the desired action. This appeals to an ancient part of our brain that responds to other howling monkeys with fear and outrage, and the resulting voter panic allowed Leftist dominance by the 1960s.

Much of this occurred through cultural warfare. A good example is Slim Gaillard’s hep cat 1940s and 1950s hit, including “Yip Roc Heresy,” a phonetic approximation of jumbled items from the menu at a Lebanese café:

The stoner kids love April 20th for its symbolism of 4-20, which corresponds to 4:20, the time when (in stoner lore) stoners gather in attics, basements, garages, abandoned buses in the forest, forgotten balconies on overlooked squats, in battered vans parked behind the high school, and back alleys behind typical teenage jobs.

Like most human rituals, this one consists of bringing everyone together, consuming something intoxicating, and then — well, there is no “and then.” Whatever comes is what comes. The point is not accomplishment, but achieving group momentum. It parallels how the West was taken by Leftists.

Neo-Nazis also celebrate April 20th because it is the birthday of Adolf Hitler, arguably the most successful and iconic nationalist in history and arch-enemy of all egalitarians. They use this day much as the stoners do, to bring people together and build momentum.

For the revived Right — having discovered its roots again after 227 years of slow retreat — I suggest we adopt a variant of Leftist technique. People fear Hitler and they fear nonsense. It is time to bury them in Nationalistic iconography and ideas they do not understand, then shove them aside when they fail to act.

Inside one of the oldest parts of their brains, slightly above the “reptile brain” that manages their breathing and small talk, the monkey brain will howl. They know that to fail to respond to this social challenge could ruin them. And so they will roll over, like others have in the past.
