As the professional criminals will tell you, if you are not wholly innocent, do your best to look as innocent as possible. You generally get three strikes: the cop does not like you, you are not doing what people expect you to be doing, and there is something in your possession or appearance that offends local sentiments. So why all the drama about death penalty cases? It offends the Leftists who want egalitarianism.
