The West has reached the end of the plastic road that emanated from the world wars. That road involved globalist adoption of the mixed-economy liberal democracy (MELD) society and using third world labor to increase margins to accommodate the massive hole in the economy created by those social programs designed to end “poverty,” “racism,” and “inequality.”
It turns out that these fell under the category H.L. Mencken used to describe mass illusion: “The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, all of them imaginary.”
In this case, the hobgoblin was the idea that external factors not genetics determined our level of wealth and other successes in life. In a socialization setting, when we are at the pub, we tell our audience that anything bad that happened to them was bad luck, just chance.
When you corner us in private we admit that, yes, most of the ills that befall people are the Shakespearian results of them pursuing illusions. People who remortgage their houses to gamble in Vegas end up living out of their cars because to remortgage your house to gamble in Vegas suggests stupidity, insanity, or both. These are genetic glitches.
The “poor” are poor because they are mentally disorganized, addicted to pathologies, illogical, and inconsistent. They live in constant crisis because they have no discipline in managing their own affairs. Their problem is not a lack of money, but lack of structure.
Can we fix this? No, of course not: they have autonomy, and in an economic calculation, the life they have chosen is less disturbing to them than the other options. They will choose it any time they are given the choice.
Nature handles this, of course, through natural selection. The chaotic mouse is more likely to get eaten by the hawks than the deliberate, analytical mouse. The emotionally dysregulated mouse meets the silent snake. Creatures who live in filth die of disease. And so on.
Humanity is hitting a tipping point where we realize that all great civilizations — Tenochtitlan, Athens, Mycenae, Chichen Itza, Angkor Wat, Rome, Egypt — fall because of the war of the have-nots versus the haves, which is created by having lots of directionless incompetents around.
Look at the rioters are Minneapolis. Are these people future contributors? At best, they are job-doers who have hobbies. They need to be told what to do; they never create anything, produce anything, or maintain anything. They act for pay or social brownie points only.
Apply the Prozak Test: if all of a thing vanished tomorrow, would anything be worse?
Here we see that if ICE shoots every single rioter in Minneapolis, life will not be worse. Sure, the families will wail, but they are doing that so they get the payout. Secretly they are relieved that whatever sweaty basement-dwelling mouth-breather they spawned is no longer their problem.
The West is realizing that if it loses these people, who are probably the result of mutation load, it can move forward with only the people who do useful things without being micromanaged into doing so. We do not need “carrot and stick” people; we need people who see a shopping cart left in the wrong place and return it to the corral.
Our lives have been ruined by a competence crisis. Our industry no longer produces much that is worth the money, and almost everything is plastic junk designed to extract the maximum from consumers through corner-cutting and harvesting our user data.
What brought us to this state? A big chunk of all industry goes to taxes, unions, lawsuits, and regulatory costs. Industry has to make this up through widening margins by using cheaper labor, cheaper materials, and a subscriptions model to squeeze more money from us consumer sheep.
In a broader context, however, the competence crisis affects every area of society. The voters are neurotic emotional creatures that react with panic or jubilation to any news story; the average driver on the roads seems both completely distracted and dogmatically aggressive.
The leaders we see on television are absolute clowns. They are, however, able to see the task: offer up easy lies to the voters, who are even bigger incompetent clowns, so they frame any issue in emotions and familiar programs, even if those regularly fail.
The voters need to understand that their panic filtered out just about everyone willing to tackle real issues. If the voters panic when you remove failing but popular programs, then anyone willing to remove those programs will not be elected and disappear from politics.
I mean, the voters slept through eighty years of social programs loading up our debt with trillions. They then read selective restatements of selected facts by the media, such that most voters believe three-quarters of our budget goes to the military, when the converse is true.
Capitalism fails when the audience cannot discern a junk product from a good one. At that point, the market drives companies to make cheaper junk which surprisingly has higher margins, since making stuff out of plastic in China is astoundingly cheap.
Junk products exist because low-intelligence people buy them. This creates an incentive for government to have lots of stupid people buying junk and producing a high GDP that can then be taxed. They miss the conspiracy of details, however, which says that doing this will also make the country less valuable as its competence falls, so even higher numbers will not mean more wealth.
The current state of America suffers a confidence crisis because it has promoted stupid people, whether DEI hires or simply sweaty mouth-breathing neckbeards from Reddit, into positions of power within the system, and also relies on them as an audience for its products.
Wonder why movies are stupid? Stupid people like superheroes and navel-gazing sentimental babbles that make the brainless and empty appear deep and intelligent to their fellow mouth-breathers. Stupid people like pity, so they like movies where peasants become kings and sad passive people turn out to be winners.
Wonder why you cannot buy a functional refrigerator? The management at these companies consists of the stupid who got MBAs; they have brains, but not minds, so can memorize and reconfigure data like an AI, but cannot think like a full human. The consumers who buy this stuff will upgrade if something newer comes out because they are buying all of it on debt anyway and depend on social security and selling their homes for retirement funds.
Wonder why politics has become corrupt? The diversity swing vote is part of the larger stupid swing vote, in which all the saps, neurotic boomer women, obese nerds, skinny eggheads, and directionless perpetual entry-level job people unite to have a tantrum against whoever has power.
Modern governments power themselves with a Keynesian circular Ponzi scheme that requires many idiots working cheaply and buying junk products in order to pump up that GDP, increase tax revenues, and keep government afloat despite its many moron voters having pulled the lever for free stuff from government that the society cannot afford.
We are coming out of an Age of Symbolism where emotions within the human mind and shared between human minds were impotant because we were in the grips of demotism, or the rule by what a majority of people seemed to want: consumerism, democracy, and socializing popularity.
In the newborn Age of Utility, we are consequentialists, or focused on results in reality independent of individual minds; this requires hierarchy because some perceive more than others, and restores the esoteric or punctuated equilibrium model of learning.
For us Age of Utility people, the new goal will be to be independent of incompetents, morons, criminals, the insane, the mildly insane, neurotics, sociopaths, and psychopaths. We recognize that waste humans are made every generation and we need adult eugenics to remove them.
Every society that has existed so far has fallen because of the war of the have-nots versus the haves. This war is made possible because people in groups shy away from conflict, and therefore end up subsidizing their defectives instead of exiling them. That means that when a nasty sociopath shows up, he has a big audience of morons that he can manipulate into starting a revolution.
Remove the tinder. Send away the retards. Even remove the obedient but blockheaded job-obedient people who can follow instructions but not act independently. These are not full humans, but brainstem people who can act logically within narrow confines but not think.
Every bad manager you have had, fellow employee who moved stuff over to your desk, useless desk clerk interaction, or sloppy repair job is the result of these partial humans. The solution to civilization decay is simple: remove incomplete people.
This is also why it is opposed. Simple, clear answers bore people. They handle the problem and create silence and open spaces where we have to listen to our own thoughts. There we worry that we are mistaking the gurgling of our guts for the sounds of the winds of eternity.
With automation technology, we can have total autonomy. Societies keep idiots around in case we need warm bodies in wartime and extra labor in our agriculture and industry, but then those idiots proliferate and like a waste lagoon drown the rest of civilization.
As we say around here: either the best oppress the rest, or the rest oppress the best. Most of that issue can be dodged by sending the dysfunctional rest away so that the civilization can live on in perpetuity.
Right now we see a competence crisis because our society became wealthy, then beat back all competing systems in the world wars, and when the Soviets fell, had no one to compete with by itself, kicking off an era of status signaling and virtue comparison on the basis of the one consistent thread through modern ideology, egalitarianism.
That symbolic focus turned us away from questions which were contra-egalitarian, such as “Is this person an incompetent moron with zero ability for critical thinking and analytical perception?” and “Is this person so useless that if they disappeared, nothing would be worse?”
You may remember your elementary school classroom. There were discipline problem kids and yes, they took a lot of time, but there were other mentally disorganized kids who took up even more time. They forgot to bring a pencil. They read the wrong textbook. They cannot figure out the basic concepts. Every day, this twenty percent of the class held up everyone else.
It sounds simplistic, but the solution is to remove them. Let the eighty percent thrive and hierarchy emerge among them, with some becoming top athletes, others top students, and still others experts in focused areas even if their overall grades were not that good.
Remove the defectives. Otherwise you enter into a death spiral of a competence crisis and the high cost of subsidizing those incompetents, which is actually what causes “enshittification” and planned obsolescence.
Humans need to re-orient from negative goals (avoid wars, punish criminals, discipline those with bad behaviors) and toward the positive goal of having a civilization, which means that you can include only those compatible with your civilization.
That means total remigration of course of the genetically foreign, but also the removal of homegrown defectives, bunglers, incompetents, criminals, grifters, and other parasites. Without them, you can grow strong forever, but with them, your death cycle is assured.
