Casualties of Affirmative Action

While we celebrate Karmelo Anthony getting convicted for provoking a physical confrontation and then stabbing a man to death — if he were White, this would have been murder one with weapons and hate crime enhancements — we can look at the long history of Affirmative Action.

Affirmative Action does not pick the best; why? Unless you assume the Klan runs everything and will not promote a competent minority, the competent minorities (smaller per capita likelihood because of different center points to the Bell Curve) will already be promoted.

Instead, Affirmative Action like PC, DEI, ESG selects for those who are both minorities and willing to exploit a system without caring if they are competent or not. It selects for oblivious ineptitude and callow sociopathy, in other words.

Leaping into some examples, we cannot forget Auburn Calloway who tried to crash a plane after his Affirmative Action / Disparate Impact (AADI) career tanked:

The former pilot, Auburn Calloway, 42, faces 20 years to life in prison for attacking the crew of the Federal Express DC-10 with a hammer and spear gun.

After a half-hour struggle, the three-man crew managed to subdue their attacker and return the plane safely to Memphis.

It turns out that despite the subsidies, he got busted for everyday stuff that White people and Italians also get busted for (deport Italians). This ended his career and caused a panic attack:

Mr. Calloway worked as a flight engineer for Federal Express.   The company began investigating irregularities in the reporting of Mr. Calloway’s flight hours, and he was directed to appear at a hearing scheduled for April 8, 1994, in Memphis, Tennessee.  (The company’s headquarters are in Memphis, and Mr. Calloway was a resident of that city.)

Shortly before the date of the hearing Mr. Calloway began rearranging his financial affairs.   He caused about $40,000 worth of securities to be sent to his former wife, and he sent her cashier’s checks totaling nearly $14,000.   He also paid a visit to the FedEx employee benefits office and changed the beneficiaries of an accidental death and dismemberment policy and a term life insurance policy.

In this case, a Black man got set up to fail by JFK’s AADI. At every level of his past experience he was promoted to high places:

Stanford University Class of 1974
BA African and African American Studies
U.S. Navy Jet Pilot 1977–1982
Honorably Discharged
[with Pistol Expert Medal,
Sea Services Ribbon,
Humanitarian Service Medal
and Expeditionary Medal]
Federal Prisoner 1994–present

However, this was fake and therefore stuck him somewhere where he could not succeed. This strikes me as supreme cruelty and pretense, but apparently this is normal with huwhite people. Another example is Conrad Aska, who was a string of red flags right up until he flew a plane into Liberty Bay:

Investigators say a pilot’s errors and disorientation were primary factors in causing the crash of a Boeing 767 cargo plane near Houston.

Investigators called the co-pilot who was flying the jet a “train wreck” during training. They say first officer Conrad Jules Aska incorrectly believed the jet was about to stall before pushing it into a fatal nosedive.

Investigators say Aska gave false information to Atlas Air, concealing issues at past employers, calling his training record “terrible.”

At every level, AADI promoted him just like PC, DEI, and ESG would have. The result was setting him up to fail and then taking no responsibility when the inevitable happened. Diversity is cruel to all groups involved.
