There is no difference between communism and socialism, except in the means of achieving the same ultimate end: communism proposes to enslave men by force, socialism—by vote. It is merely the difference between murder and suicide.1
This is why people appreciate Ayn Rand (Alisa Rosenbaum): she opposed the insanity of socialism in unambiguous language. Where others hoped to make a partnership with the beast, she called it the beast it was.
Of course, her works are a distillation and simplification of Nietzsche, but in a form more of us can access.
The point remains: any form of Leftism quickly leads to Full Soviet. The only solution is to oppose Leftism in all forms.
