We should all celebrate Lamont Hughes for his honesty in clarifying what we are all thinking: those who do not fit in reality, should exit reality, probably in preference to their perpetual attempts to edit reality through social pressure in order to make it fit their delusions.
Lamont is famous for the phrase the sick must die which he shouted while attempting to cull a blind woman:
A woman was brutally beaten while riding a city bus in Seattle, Washington.
A man walked onto the bus and started hitting a blind woman who was sitting at the front of the bus.
The attacker was apparently yelling, “The sick must die.”
Although it makes very little sense to exterminate the blind, the theory applies. Those who have no use here are ill, and their illness threatens us, so they must be removed. The sick must die, especially the mentally unwell of the mundane sort who drown us in their bungling.
