Russians are rapists: why the lesser always hate the greater

Relations between Russia and Germany have not been good since Vladimir Putin’s nationalist sabre-rattling this summer, but they are about to get a whole lot worse.

A new film about to be released in Germany will force both countries to re-examine part of their recent history that each would much prefer to forget. Yet it is right that the ghastly truth should finally be acknowledged.

Marta was one of two million German women who were raped by soldiers of the Red Army – in her case, as in so many others, several times over.

In his fine new book, World War Two: Behind Closed Doors, the historian Laurence Rees points out that although rape was officially a crime in the Red Army, in fact, Stalin explicitly condoned it as a method of rewarding the soldiers and terrorising German civilians.

The Germans were hopelessly outnumbered on the Russian front. Armed with American weaponry, the Russians slowly pushed them back. The Germans on paper never had a chance to win, but they came very close to winning, and it’s possible that political instability between Hitler and his generals was the cause of their loss.

This pissed the Russians off. Russia has always been impoverished because its people are dumber than Germans, have killed off their aristocracy numerous times, have tried many systems of government and failed at them all, and have — like all third world nations — tried to kill any wise person who has risen up among them to tell them the truth; however, they don’t mind following charlatans like Lenin and Stalin!

We keep hearing more and more bad things about Russians, just as our second cold war heats up, and most of them are toned down. If Roosevelt had any brains, he would’ve let the Germans take out the Russians before then invading the Germans, and saved us 60 — well, looks more like it’s going to be 120 — years of Cold War.
