Leftists claim that ICE just shot Renee Nicole Good arbitrarily and that she was not, as ICE alleges, attempting to run down ICE agents with her car.

A separate video posted online from a different vantage point showed Good yielding to federal vehicles, waving them along, when the agents approached her car.

As the car appears to be leaving the scene, moving around another federal agent in the roadway, the agent fires at short range directly into the driver’s side, according to the video obtained by The Intercept. At least three shots can be heard in the video.

The video does not clearly show that Good was attempting to run over agents, as DHS claimed.

Since Leftists lie about everything, this is best ignored.

Reason has a more nuanced take on the event:

Video of the shooting, obtained by the Minnesota Reformer, shows a SUV stopped at an angle in the street as a pickup truck with emergency lights on approaches and stops in front of it. Masked ICE agents exited the truck and immediately ordered the woman to get out. As the officers started to pull on the door handles of the SUV, the woman backed the SUV up and then started to pull away, forcing an ICE officer who had stepped in front of the driver-side bumper out of the way. The officer drew his gun and fired three shots in quick succession into the car. The SUV continued down the street a short distance before crashing.

Poor stube just figured out that when you screw up enough that a cop says to get out of the car, it is unwise to keep driving, and doubly so to keep driving in his direction. The courts have basically said that if you do this and the police light you up like Christmas, it is your fault, and I tend to agree.

You may hate the pigs. You may want them dead. But you are in a democracy and so you are enslaved to the vote of your fellow citizens. Even more, you are bound by common sense. When you are confronted with armed dudes who are doing their best interpretation of upholding the law, it is best to obey their instructions (unless you really think you can get away clean, at which point drive or run away from them not toward them).

The Daily Fail offers a sober take:

One clip shows several ICE agents approach a burgundy Honda Pilot while demanding the driver get out of the vehicle.

The driver does not follow the orders, then reverses the car before putting it in drive and speeding forward at an agent directly in front of the hood.

That agent quickly unholsters his gun and fires three times towards the non-cooperative driver.

You can see two angles of the event on local news; the second one shows more of the sequence of actions.

In any case, let us apply the Prozak Test: if this woman who tried to run down ICE agents were to vanish tomorrow, would anything be worse? I suppose she has vanished, which is sort of sad, but what really was lost?

Our societies are weltering in people who are technically “doing the right thing”: going to work, paying taxes, buying stuff on Amazon, and shouting political slogans. But most of them work do-nothing desk jobs that make nothing better for anyone.

The coming Age of Utility will reward those who produce something, whether monetarily valuable like goods and services, or intangibles like culture, community, or even just sweeping the steps of the church.

Humanity has made itself ill with people who achieve nothing and are essentially net takers, who not surprisingly endorse a taker-mentality of individualism: everyone is important, so whoever has anything has to subsidize the rest of them.

These people are permanently miserable and will use that as an excuse to play the victim and seize control of anything they can, at which point they will wreck it because they are incompetents. The 1960s, the French Revolution, and the Soviet Union were all of this type.

Crazy 404 media whined about the scene thus:

The two people walk towards the Honda. Someone can be heard saying “get out of the fucking car.” One of them tries to open the driver’s door and reach through the open window. The driver of the Honda reverses and turns, getting straighter with the road. The driver then slowly accelerates and starts to turn to the right, leveling the car out with its front pointing away from the two officers.

A third officer, who has been standing on the other side of the road, pulls out a firearm while the car is turning away from him and fires into the car three times. The officer fires two of the shots when the vehicle is already well past him. He is not in front of the car, but to the side. The officer calmly holsters his weapon.

The Honda, now straight on the road and its driver shot, rolls up the street and collides with a vehicle and electricity pole. The woman driver died. The driver’s airbag is covered in blood.

Oh, the pathos! But if someone in uniform says “get out of the fucking car” and you keep driving, that is already resisting arrest, and if you point the car anywhere near them, since they know you broke one law, they expect you will break others.

Even more, the description in this article is inaccurate, deliberately so. The car hits an officer. Turning away? Well, technically true, since after it hit him it was moving in an arc away from him. Leftists love to cherrypick.

All individualists do this. To those who read philosophy, consistent definitions are important, not political definitions like the idea that individualism means rugged autonomy. Individualism means the individual first before all else; this is narcissism, solipsism, and egotism.

The crazy individualist who drove her SUV at ICE agents and got ventilated is typical of the genre. She probably has a medicine cabinet at home that reads like a psychiatry textbook. Even more, it seems her life was a mess, as is the case with most Leftists.

In this case, Renee Michelle Good was obviously a professional agitator, as was her wife (no, I’m not putting it in quotes; if gay people want to get married, good for them). This was a setup and a tantrum by the ironist contrarian individualists who specialize in the Heckler’s Veto.

We are going to have to exile these people in order to have a functional nation.

The funny part? The raging Leftists are now deploying the National Guard because this time around, different than in the George Floyd years, they sense public opinion has turned against Leftist vandalism of what is left of our civilization.
