When you ride a rollercoaster, the moment of terror comes before you reach the top of the first hill. Slowly, jerkily you move toward the top, like the moments before disaster. Then the bottom drops out and the ride begins, but the suspense and ambiguity are gone.

Humanity finds itself in a period of history like that moment of suspense right now. We know in our guts that change is coming because the current system is not working, but we are afraid of what comes or even what to hope for.

What lurks around the corner or over the horizon is a sea change of epic dimension: the inevitability of the failure of liberal democracy, which bankrupted itself with diversity and socialism (or more generally, DEADS).

Inevitability defines our age. The failure of the old is inevitable, and the arrival of the new is also inevitable. Any options for the current system to succeed are foreclosed, and the needs of humanity will dictate the future.

First consider that we have devalued our currency and can no longer easily borrow more. The “affordability crisis” is not a cost crisis, but a currency value crisis. Our dollars no longer buy as much as they did; they claim this is inflation driven by demand, but that really means that printing money through debt makes more units of the same currency, so each one is worth less. In addition, giving away free stuff sets a new baseline for zero value, and this means that any price below that is basically profitless.

Second notice that the government clowns have killed the American Dream. Ordinary thriving middle class life is no longer possible in a nation wracked by diversity chaos, where none of the products perform well, and where taxes are so high that almost no one can afford to have children. Government passed on costs to business, including the DEI hires, and those got passed on to the consumer, so now an entry-level house costs half a million but salaries for most are still well below six figures. You cannot afford what your grandparents did because your currency is worth less and your job prospects have been destroyed by constant immigration, globalism, and refinancialization flooding the market with cheap labor.

This means that civilization cannot exist under this regime, but even more, functional individuals can no longer have good and productive lives. Anything useful that they do will be torn down and consumed by the raving mob. What they can afford is mediocre and still expensive, which is why so many have dropped out of the mainstream economy.

Change is on the wind. It must be, because what we have now is insufferable, unsupportable, and unsustainable.
