Even “Model Minority” Diversity Leads to Chaos

Democracies live by lies. Or rather, they live by symbols. If you make something appear to be controlled, people relax and go back to sleep, which increases the lifespan potential of the democracy. People forget that democracies live under fear of their founding events, the revolutions, and do what they can to pacify people.

As part of our lie, we rely on the idea that our programs fail only because some people are bad, not because the program is not working for most people. We believe that certain races are bad, like racist Whites to the anti-“racist” or criminal Blacks to the “racist,” and do not look at the context.

In reality, diversity itself is bad because it is unstable. It pits groups against each other to fight for control. Not surprisingly this makes them hate each other and do horrible things to each other, which is fine by Democracy Inc because it distracts from how unstable democracy is.

Therefore we invent the myth of the “model minority,” but even that has glitches as one hysterical massacre revealed:

The Wah Mee was a historic speakeasy and gambling club that dated back to the early 1920s. The club, a romantic, classy enclave patronized mainly by relatively affluent restaurant owners and business people in the Chinese community, hosted some of the highest-stakes gambling that could be found in Seattle and, for that matter, in the entire Pacific Northwest.

Winners went home with tens of thousands of dollars after a single night of gambling. Beat cops supplemented their income by tolerating (for a price) illegal gambling in Chinatown. The practice allowed the exclusive, Chinese-only members of the Wah Mee Club to preserve an integral part of their history — gambling — while also profiting individual police officers.

Shortly before midnight on February 18, 1983, the three young men entered the Wah Mee Club. They hog-tied and robbed 14 victims before opening fire.

Different cultures have different ways. Apparently in Chinese culture, gambling is an essential part, and therefore you get criminal corruption spreading through your society. The massacre merely reflects the opportunism that this situation in turn creates.
