Darwinism is necessary to keep genetic defectives, who cannot handle even moderate amounts of power, out of our civilization, and ends-over-means thinking (instead of trying to Control everyone through best methods enforced equally) avoids having people adapt to The System and by doing so, lose their ability to function in the wider world. Civilization gradually drives people insane because it replaces reality with social pressures.
