Late Stage Democracy is heading toward suicide via socialism and diversity. Egalitarianism is bad enough, but when subsidized, drains wealth, energy, and focus from the productive parts of society to the failing parts.

This collapse will be driven as much by what was not spent as what was spent. We ditched the money in anti-poverty and anti-racism programs, but avoided spending on infrastructure and future investments like military and space so that we had better optics to beat the Communists.

When equality takes over, it replaces the goal of your civilization, including culture, with an emotional dogma of forcing us all toward Utopia. This goal can never be reached, therefore the churn continues until it runs out of money.

Luckily, the resulting crisis will force the world into its biggest war to date, with the third world sabotaging the first as the first quickly loses its Neville Chamberlains and replaces them with war leaders. Many will die. Such is the cost of democracy.
