This describes individualism, which usually arises out of self-pity that comes from self-worship clashing with reality; in other words, human breakdown is the DKE clashing with self-esteem needs. This occurs less in nature because self-esteem relates directly to being able to hunt, farm, or produce useful objects; in a society of jobs, however, people are judged by how they are perceived by others.
