“Subvert the Dominant Paradigm” on Aristokratia

The ancient gods live with us today. We rank them above all else but the source of reality itself. Right below them, just by a hair, sit those who benefit us all by publishing interesting, varied and insightful information. Among those are Editors including Gwendolyn Taunton who publishes Aristokratia webzine and book series. I have been fortunate to have pieces accepted for past volumes of the print version of Aristokratia, but today I am proud to announce that my latest article, “Subvert the Dominant Paradigm,” has found a home on Aristokratia.

    Dear Brett:

I would like to know what is your opinion on human sexuality, more specifically on the implications on living a sexually liberated life.
There’s a dating advice website with a conservative tone and a decent spirit in that it urges men to constantly become a better versions of themselves, and this is at least, healthy to our society.
They recently touched on a sensible topic:
” I can understand how restricting female sexuality can be beneficial when it comes to creating order within a society, but I still find it morally wrong. Females are humans too, and being sexually free, not only legally but also morally, should be a human right. Also, female sexuality is a beautiful thing – why restrict it instead of appreciating it?”

    • Notice their argument is entirely non sequitur and feelings. There is no agenda to “restrict female sexuality”; conservatives believe that society as a whole should be family-oriented and thus relatively chaste, including males. The only “restriction” is on promiscuity, and that’s not a direct restriction. We simply want the realistic ability to call a slut and a slut and exclude him/her from our social circle for being a degenerate.
