I live part of the year in one of the most backward villages in E. Europe, a clan-based culture, I do low-tech agriculture, have no indoor plumbing, 8 tv chanels. I work from 5am to 8pm 4 days a week every summer to make ends meet. Winter time? Sit at home, read, cook, visit family, cant leave the vilage. Tedious. After 6 months of that: condo life, health clubs, selling real estate, porn, movies, reality shows, PS3, niteclubs, fast cars, drugs & loose women are FUN for up to a year & a half.

Agreed on the first point somewhat. Prozak’s most recent post is pure gold, in my humble opinion. Don’t depend on the anus, but don’t reject it outright.
That, with all due respect to all, is pure insanity.

This was one of the best posts I’ve read out here. What ANUS lacks after all this time is such creativity, or good writing as here.
Prozak’s posts were good (and life-changing, no doubt), but you could still feel the bitterness.
And for folks like me who’ve been reading you for quite some time, one can only grow tired of hearing all of the arguments reiterated in new forms, but not really surprising, once you’ve gotten yourself aquinted with the basic philosophical principles of the movement.
On contrast, this essay, with some insightful metaphors along the way, keeps one both entertained and intellectually alert.
