The village idiot now rules the village

stoopid paruntIn ancient times every village had its idiot sitting on the edge of society, gibbering to himself and spouting rubbish to bemused passers by. Since those halcyon days the idiot learned to breed and being the idiot that he is, he bred like a rabbit (he probably raped a farm girl with a gammy leg or some other impediment to a quick getaway) and gradually took over by force of numbers.

Thus these village idiots, once mocked, castigated and in the minority, found their situation reversed. Whole towns are now full of them, stacked up in bars talking about cars and full of opinions on subjects they don’t understand or are remotely qualified to comment on. They even have their own corrupted form of music called “rock and pop”. Their revenge is sweet as finally they’re able to shout down and smother those who once ignored them or beat them to a bloody pulp for eyeing up their flat-footed daughters.

But it seems a minority of slowly increasing numbers within the mainstream is realising there are indeed people out there too stupid to function as healthy human beings. Furthermore, they’re beginning to think something should be done about them.

In the UK, the SS (or Social Services if you prefer) came to the frankly almost unprecedented conclusion that a council estate mother of a disabled child was quite literally too stupid to look after her own offspring and recommended it be put into care. Despite this halfway commendable decision, they continue to shuffle their feet and look distinctly uncomfortable at the obvious implications of their actions. Namely:

1) If individuals are judged by qualified professionals to be unfit to bring up children to the extent that they should be taken from them, why is there not a system in place to prevent them having children in the first place?
2) Isn’t it obvious that this absolute cretin of poor genetic stock and abysmal prospects is predisposed to poor parenthood and unhealthy, unconstructive children?

Chief Executive for children’s charity Barnardo’s, Martin Narey, commented recently that abused and murdered infant “Baby P” (killed by his own idiot parent of course) was in any case likely to become a liability and destructive member of society due to the nature of his upbringing:

“It saddens me that the probability is that, had Baby P survived, given his own deprivation he might have been unruly by the time he had reached the age of 13 or 14. At which point he’d have become feral, a parasite, a yob, helping to infest our streets,” he said as part of the Barnardo’s lecture series at the Duke of Wellington Hall, London.

The Independent

Yet again he was still afraid to clearly articulate publically what he undoubtedly feels in private. Why? Because the village idiot horde would shout him down and demand his resignation, compounded by a stampede of politicians and media eager to gain momentary favour with the mob. Surely it’s high time we neutered the idiot and eradicated him from the genepool. They couldn’t have known in ancient times that he’d someday rule the world, after all.

100% agreed. Problem is the idiots also have political clout and now want free healthcare, even though the US is by far the most insolvent nation in the world and spends $1trillion per year on an overseas empire. So we’re either headed toward bankruptcy, or totalitarian socialism run by morons.

Stupid. I didn’t read much of this tripe but enough to realize it’s some loser whining about his outcast lot in society. Rock and pop are the urbanite continuation of the folk music of centuries ago; trust me, that music wasn’t any more “intelligent”. The implication that there’s a genetic, heredetary cause (which apparently you’re exempt from, making you one of the “chosen”) for whatever you’re blubbering about is just the tip of the iceberg of idiocy in this “article”.

Kindly do the world a favor and execute yourself.

Instead of giving any sort of evidence for this ridiculous shit you’ve used logic alone in your closed mind which has led you to anthropomorphize all of recorded human history. Congratulations you’re finally more of a hypocrite more narcissistic and more schizophrenic than Isaiah Berlin and the entire 9/11 truth movement combined.

Sight your sources moron. Moving on; if you cared about a single quanta of truth you’d refrain from dictating to others what they think. Reality is strange and most likely not understandable by the human mind, so try being a bit more humble in the face of nature and less of an egomaniac. With my own logic I’d feel inclined to conclude that these mystery individuals you’ve demonized feel the ramifications of what they have done is much worse than what you’ve dictated. I’d assume they are worried about paradoxes that have bothered use since even pre-Democritus times in that how does one know who are the qualified professionals? I’m assuredly more qualified than you, but who is more qualified them me I do not know. This could be what these enigmas where thinking, it’s logical, but I have no observation thus I don’t know it’s probability, and I’d be inclined to shut my mouth about such drivel unless I wanted to profess my idiocy.

Let me do some nitpicking before i address any of your points.
First you mean “cite” and not “sight”. Second, “quanta” is the plural of “quantum”, which is what you actually mean, judging from “a” and “single”. You mean “said” and not “dictated”, unless voicing opinions you consider unpleasant counts as ordering, but hey, “dictated” sounds more edjamacated. You mean “than”, not “them”. You mean “were” not “where”. You say you’re more qualified, but this is the internet! You can’t go around talking about your qualifications, dick length, or your IQ score, because you come off as a pompous ass who can’t rely on his own ability in an argument and needs to make false claims to look better, regardless of whether this is the case or not. You also lace your argument with insults, as if this made it any more persuasive.

Now, let’s consider. We can observe that many physical characteristics, both obvious (hair colour) and less obvious (heart defects) are heritable. Surely the brain, which is inseparable from the mind and intelligence, is also effected by heredity, as a body part like any other? Look at the Huxley family; all extraordinarily gifted people, yet also given to mental illness late in life. It’s hardly a coincidence that they look similar and have similar strengths and weaknesses – It’s all down to heredity, which in realityland effects humans as much as any other living thing, and all of our bodies, not merely the parts we feel comfortable with being effected! And honestly, most people are a bit dim, and both everyday experience and IQ statistics back this up.

“Reality is strange and most likely not understandable by the human mind, so try being a bit more humble in the face of nature and less of an egomaniac.”
What on earth is this supposed to mean? Understanding the world is hard, so stop trying, especially when your conclusions perturb me?

On the surface, the idea of limiting procreation based on the factors you discussed in your article sounds wise. The number of children born into households, broken or otherwise, that are unable to properly care for them is staggering.

The “moralistic” problem I see is that, while a good idea to start, whom would society entrust with governing the criteria of such a system? Who decides who has the money, the upbringing, the education, and the mindset to properly continue the species?

I hate to fall back to such a cliche example, but look at how Nazi Germany viewed procreation and human genetics. One “village idiot”, namely Hitler, decided one day that anyone with Jewish heritage was somehow innately inferior, and began exterminating them.

“1) If individuals are judged by qualified professionals to be unfit to bring up children to the extent that they should be taken from them, why is there not a system in place to prevent them having children in the first place?
    2) Isn’t it obvious that this absolute cretin of poor genetic stock and abysmal prospects is predisposed to poor parenthood and unhealthy, unconstructive children?”

I can see what you are getting at, but I am fearful the possible extremes.
If we let people breed like rabbits, then leave their children (disabled or otherwise) to fend for themselves, that’s deplorable and wrong. But if we sign off our rights as humans to decide for ourselves if we want to procreate or not, that sets a dangerous precedent as well.

This is one of those issues where people have to meet in the middle and compromise, and that so rarely happens today.

“FJ – Problem is the idiots also have political clout and now want free healthcare, even though the US is by far the most insolvent nation in the world and spends $1trillion per year on an overseas empire”

@FJ – Just wanted to respond to this briefly: Both forms of healthcare are extreme in my mind. Free healthcare from the government worries me, since some unseen man behind a desk decides that my quality of life is worth saving or not. On the flip side, our current healthcare/insurance system in America is priced so high that the average American can’t keep up. We let the little health problems pile up, until we are rushed to the hospital with some major issue, then left with a bill that could buy a house.

I do have to agree that the US spends far too much effort and money on overseas concerns. Let the rest of the world learn to take care of their own problems, while we relearn that we are fully able to tackle ours, if we’d only stop being lazy and outsourcing our jobs to 3rd world countries.
